full circle or "i'm a man of wealth and taste"
I ended this semester the exact same way i started it: waking up too drunk to go to spanish.
In conclusion: pretty much one of the best semesters ever.
Now I've got a whole lot of nothing until my finals which aren't until the 12th and 13th. So if anyone wants to do something, I"m free! At some point I'm going home to do some laundry, commune with nature, play with bunnies, see the Monterey bay aquarium, and generally step away from the los angeles life style for a bit. Any peeps with nothing goin' on are welcome to come!
I'm really going to miss my production class. Sure it was fucking so much work, but the people in the class were amazing. We had our huge goodbye party on wednesday night at our prof. house, then moved it back to la and proceeded to get really really really drunk. That kind of bond doesn't happen too often in classes- so I feel like we really lucked out. Plus my proffesors both pulled me aside and told me they expected big things of me, and mentioned some jobs they're recommending me for! I mean, i know it's stupid, but it seems to me that it's rare in this day to have someone give you an ego boost like that. So anyway, my goal is to get an internship this summer or just a job, and make some more shorts, since they seem to go over well and i had kind of forgotten how much I really like making movies.
on another note I watched all of FLCL last night in one go, and that show is fucking rad. It makes me want a sweet vespa all the more.
well i've got shit to do today if i'm gonna be able to go out and have any fun tonight, so i'm off to attend to chores and errands!
