Short List of Real Men or Goddamn my cable going out!

So I've been looking forward to watching Man vs. Wild season premiere for about a million years now, and yesterday at nine o clock was the premiere episode. So Jason Bruce and I decided that we would watch the show together and revel in it's man-ery. Well,Jason comes over and we go to turn on the tv and find out... oh shit, there's been a fire on the grade and a cable line has melted so no one has cable north of the grade. (or south, for that matter, I think.)

This is crushing. I love Man Vs. Wild, because Bear Grylls is on my very short list of real men. (as seen here:)

i think john wayne is going to be on there as soon as I watch a few more westerns....but as you can imagine, I'd gladly have Bear's children, and jason and i were pretty freaking bummed that We couldn't watch the show. Soon enough we realized the show would come back on at one, and SURELY, SURELY the cable would be fixed by then....

sadly it was not.

That's not to say that Jason and I didn't have a ridiculous and rather fucking adventurous night, but still. I wanted to see my bear. :(

fortunately today is a new day, and there's going to be an awesomely huge party in riverside and I can't wait. Now, onto cereal and packing.
