My psychology teacher never seems to be able to get her class finished by the end of the period. Yesterday morning, she waits until the last five minutes of class to show us a ten minute video. It's not that it bothers me, much, but I know it gets to some people.
History was great.
Absolutely fantastic.
I got to class a little early and Prof. Golemo gave me my exam back. 101%. That's an A, I believe. Then he asked to talk to me outside. So we went outside and he went on to tell me I had a brilliant mind and he was very impressed by the work I had done. Then he told me how I was a great debater and he liked that I could "disembowel" the competition while still smiling and getting them to as well. He also said he liked how I was brilliant without being arrogant about it. And then, the final compliment, he offered to write me a letter of recommendation for me whenever I'd need it. I've never had someone just offer to write one without me asking first. He also offered to talk to me about majors some time and give me "the good, the bad, and the ugly" on a history major or minor. I have to say, I don't think I've ever been so outright complimented like that. So thank you, Professor, for your encouragement and for making my week.
After class, I met up with Max and his little sister Carrie to go and get some smoothies. A good way to end the week, no doubt. Too bad, the week is never over. I went home and took a nap because I've been missing so much sleep lately, and then got up, got dressed up, and then went to acting to film my scene...
Acting for film really is as different from theater as they say it is. I'm sitting in a big recliner, sipping Cointreau and going over my lines with Jack, while three or four other people are all crowded around me with film equipment. The mic was a long, black, phallic piece of foam that is aimed directly at my mouth from about three inches away while the cameraman pretty much obscured my whole view. Because of where Johno needed to stand to film my close up, Jack had to stand off to the side while I needed to keep the same eyeline as before. That means ignoring the camera and mic that are practically touching my face, while Jack gives his lines from the side and I have to respond to a lamp. Interesting, but very fun. I got to talk to Jeff a bit while in between filming so I got to learn a little about him. Very nice guy. But then again, everybody there is.
I'm already tired by the time I'm done, but I still had the halloween party to go to in Kearney Mesa. I pretty much showed up, met up with Ashton and her friends, and then left. We went to her friend George's house where I met a shy pitbull with a large penis. Eventually, I got to bed, around 2:30. Then I had to wake up early for the senate meeting in Oceanside. I yawned through most of it, then had to give Aria a ride home. Now here I am. I'm going to bed, dammit.

I'm tired.
