In other news, I had the most horrific dream/nightmare last night. I dreamt that my mum told us she was about to die. She seemed really calm, but I was lost in a whirl of emotion and felt thoroughly broken. My dad asked what it was she was dieing from, and she wouldn't say. He said "its genetic isn't it". And it was clear that was the case. I asked her how long it was going to be, and she said don't worry, I'll probably last through today. I clung to her and begged her not to die. When I woke up I had tears around my eyes.
Never had a dream like that before, and hope I never will again - although I guess at some point I will have to endure it for real, hopefully by then I will have another family around me to support me.
