Masterminds was on recently; my CKR Tivo filter taped it. I’ve seen most of Callum’s obscure roles, but had never caught this one. It’s RIDONKULOUS, seriously. The movie itself isn’t that bad, really - a good kid-friendly caper with Patrick Stewart having fun as an OTT criminal type. But Ollie, Callum’s character, is unintentionally hilarious - or maybe it was intentional; how could it not be? All the goggles and dirt and such, and the random broad Northern English accent. Oh, Callum, I hope you had fun on that one.
I’m glad that my personal canon already includes not Ollie’s downfall but his escape from the whole situation with a bag full of money, then embarking on a cross-country trip with a not-so-celibate priest cum ruler of the small island of Solomon Gundy. Seriously,
Crossroads is in my pantheon of ‘why fanfic is awesome at all times’: combine one minor character from a halfway-decent movie, one main character from a rather bad movie, add romantic tension and a trip across America and you get super-awesome awesomeness.

Anegada: The Drowned Land. How did I miss this? Castaway wish fulfillment at its very best.
Poll:
“Backside” is:
A) an OK word to use in fic occasionally, in order to mix it up from ‘butt’, ‘ass’, etc. (and Castiel’s new favorite, ‘assbutt’)
B) makes me think of my grandmother and giggle uncontrollably
