You should join my photo journal right this instant so that I won't feel like I have to crosspost pictures and stories like I'm about to do right now!

I am really excited about how today's theme impacted my life personally! Gerry picked it and told me last night; my plan was to carry the camera around and take a picture of something sometime during the day. But as I was leaving work, I remembered the incredible privilege I have of living near the delightful little town of Celebration ... a town with unique buildings ... a town with pretty flowers and no trash ... a town with music piped in on the main streets ... and a town that the sun was about to set upon! So I drove down to the Celebration canal, parked, and walked around one of the lakes for half an hour. I took several dozen pictures ... and this is the one I chose to represent "Skyline."
Walking around Celebration is one of those things that I passionately enjoy in life. However, I don't do it that often. Why? It's the human nature in a sense. Even the apostle Paul talks about it in relation to struggling with sin and righteousness: "I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.... I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members." (Romans 7:15,23)
I think that this year-long project has the potential to make me a better person.
It is with a probably un-Godly level of pride that I'd like to point out that I did not retouch these pictures whatsoever! :-D
