Music Meme Day 02

Jun 28, 2010 20:02

Today is... well, let's just say that I've had better days. The conference where I have to help out (and which will be pure awesome :D) starts on Wednesday, so I spent two and a half hours with my professor today, working out some details; then I have to spend the evening with working on more detail stuff on about sixty city maps; and then I'll have to spend some time tomorrow on everything again. And then in the evening, we have some informal get-together where the other student assistants and I are more or less supposed to show up as well. The week is going to be hell, seriously. And I'm so tired already. T_T

Ah, well, it's all for the contacts.

More happy stuff: SuJu's repackage album is out! :D I haven't gotten really into the songs yet (intentionally, because I have enough stuff on my plate as it is right now, no need for more emotional SuJu baggage over Kangin's pause as well) but I've looked at the scans for the jacket. I'm smitten by them all over again. They're too gorgeous to be true, they must be. I love the artistic feeling the pics have to them, and I adore that they're black and white because that really brings out the way the photographer plays with the shadows on their faces and bodies. Such beautiful shots, really. I can't even say which one is my favorite and I'll have to take my time to look at them again, but I just love the pictures.

Now, onto the meme.

Day 02 - Your least favorite song

I also take this to mean "right now." I'm glad they didn't put "A song that you hate" because it's not as if I hate the song, rather that I don't like to listen to it. As always with things like that, it's hard to really put my finger on why I don't like it so I won't try to do it. It's not as if I don't like the band in general, that's not the case at all, just that I avoid this one particular song whenever I can. It's Sistar's Push Push.

I like the way they go away from pure mainstream in their styles, and while I haven't looked enough at their performances or their MV to say anything based in well thought-through arguments, I think they have potential. They're still young and need to build a niche for themselves, and I personally don't think their start is as strong as Infinite's, but then again, I'll leave the judging to people who know more about them. :) I'll be on the lookout for new stuff from the though, with the hope that I might like their next song.
