Another rare pairing - I don't get myself sometimes
I really don't want to repeat yesterday, I feel like I was pushed around by belly people, too. T_T Now would be a good time to incorporate a rant about the uselessness that is the German train company (they managed to get our train from Berlin delayed by thirteen minutes because of... *gasp*... nothing, making me miss my connection in the process

ANYWAYS, I agree with you. I never realized Ontae is rare, but since they're leader and magnae that often implies age difference and makes it awkward .-. I never really got into the SHINee fandom [I'm an SJ fangirl] but I've wanted to {it's not just Lucifer, I've seen them elsewhere and they seem AWESOME}. I have to say, I like all the members but if there were only two I could pick it would be Onew and Taemin. They're.just.so.cute. That's why I would stick them in a pairing together...but really, since there are only 5 members in SHINee there are only so many pairings, and I can't see how any pairing could be rare.
In fact, I was always under the impression that Jongkey and Ontae were popular. I saw a video of SHINee on some radio show where they asked the members who they thought was THE most hardworking member and...Jonghyuk picked Key, Key picked Jonghyun. Taemin picked Onew, Onew picked Taemin. Minho picked Jonghyun, then changed his mind to himself XDD
Finally, I'm sorry for your Germany to USA hardships. I recently went [actually a few weeks ago] but since I live in the US it wasn't nearly as difficult. Let me tell you: don't eat from the sbarro's at Times Square. XD Eat from the carts, there are a bajillion on 5th avenue and near the museums, and they are delish. And the essence of New York. For some reason I saw lots of Mediterranean food there, I hope you like it because I adore falafel.
AND NO, ONE DAY IS NOT ENOUGH. New York is too big, so especially if you walk around it will take lots of time to just get to the different parts of the city you want to see. If you don't walk...driving/parking..can be difficult.

Ah, kidding aside. ^^ I'm sorry my reply is so late, as you've read I'm in the middle of preparing to leave, and then I've had huge-ass problems with my college thesis. -.- I'm running low on sleep and nerves at the moment, rushing to finish everything on time and half-properly. But everyone needs a break now and then, right? :) So, yeah, the point - I do my fair share of journal stalking as well. xD I figure that people can just friend-lock their entries if they don't want other to read them. ^^ So, um, hi and nice to meet you?
God, I don't know where to start. Maybe first of all - I'm so recent in the SHINee fandom that maybe my impressions are wrong, but one thing's sure: THEY REALLY ARE FUCKING AWESOME AND SO WORTH GETTING INTO! xD I'd never have thought I'd enjoy it as much as I do, but they're just too wonderful not to love. I think if you like SuJu, you wouldn't have many problems falling hard and fast for these guys as well. Then the pairing thing... well, as you said, there aren't that many pairings to begin with, so in comparison to SuJu, maybe none is really as rare as a rare SuJu pairing. ^^ But fandom is absolutely swamped with Jongkey, like swamped as in putting the force Eunhae, Kyumin, and Kangteuk together. I don't blame people, they go well together. Then basically come any combinations of the oldest three, including OT3, and then very closely 2min. And then the rest, lol. That's at least what I gather from communities, vid comments, and fanfic. ^^ So, Ontae would be a rare pairing, but it's luckily near the top of the rare pairing ranking.
But hell yes, you're right, they're so cute, especially together! And I'm under the impression that Ontae is one of these severely underappreciated pairings. Their formation for photos etc. pushes them together often, which is not really a reason to ship them, but if you're looking for it - the stares, the whispering, the same weird humor, all the adoration going on... And LOL at that radio show vid! xD From my pov, that's so typical. Jongkey stick together (as always), Ontae cuteness is going on, and then there's Minho, somehow sticking around. He's such a calm one that he recedes into the background so much, seriously.
Don't be, I'm so uber-prepared that everything should go perfectly fine now. xD Lol, okay, I hope I remember not to eat that food, or rather, remember what food to eat. Mediterranean food is fine, I guess, we have that a lot around here, too. And urgh, I know, and I'm working to convince my mom. I mean, it's not as if she alone makes the travel plans, but if no one intervenes early enough, she might just plan everything through and then refuse to change it because no one said anything when she was working on them. xD But she won't be able to resist the combined force of my little brother and me, lol.

I've been telling myself to watch Hello Baby for ages. I really need to watch that before school starts..I've heard it's hilarious and cute and in all ways amazing.
My friend ships Minkey, which is most likely really rare considering Jongkey dominates. I don't see the basis for 2min because I don't see much interaction going on between them...ontae makes so much more sense 8D
I hope you have fun in NYC 8D Yeah, I guess it's dirty but I drooled over the window shopping and there are tons of parks and whatnot. Really an awesome experience~ I live near San Franscisco which is completely different. Berlin sounds cool too, I bet there are lots of historical monuments.
Anyway, it's good that you weren't creeped out because I've only read a few of your posts and I find them interesting. So I'm going to go stalk the rest of your posts now, please tell me if you mind. But really, I'm just drooling over Donghae/SJ.

I've only seen the first episode of Hello Baby (time issues and such) yet, but it was as hilarious and awesome as I expected it to be. xD They're so wonderful in their dynamics and extremely funny in a weird way. But that won't be a shocker when you're used to SuJu's strange antics. I think Yesung is still the strangest person in SME, lol. And god, Hello Baby really is cute! Ontae are adorable enough on their own, but then the baby~~~! *o* He's such a cutie, seriously!
Hmmm... Minkey. Yeah, I don't remember seeing that much. Possibly the rarest ever combination. Taekey is already rare, but they have this term of umma-son relationship which gives them at least some basis, but Minkey must be hard to find. I'm watching the 2min a day comm, so I get my fair share of 2min interaction every day, but tbh, I still think Ontae's interactions are more frequent and warmer. I melted into a puddle of goo while watching the Quasimodo vid from the Muzit because during one of Taemin's solo parts, Onew threw a look at him that just screamed 'longing.'

I'd love for you to "constructively criticize" my fanfiction even though I don't write Kyuhae. Which skipturnstep is teaching me to appreciate <3 I remember noticing you saying something about Donghae always being too simpleminded, and I've seen that tons of times. SO...{!warning} in the beginning of my series I know he's a bit carefree and careless but NEVER FEAR. LATER, he will mature and grow up ^ ^ Hopefully. If I write well.
I love your tags but they're not helpful at finding fanfiction you've written XD. I'm pretty sure you've written some. That's okay, I'll just stalk through your {numerous} rants.

Oh, I'll have to check out what you wrote then! It probably will be a few days (because I'm leaving the day after tomorrow) until I get to it, but now I'm intrigued. ^^ And don't worry, I know that Donghae is a piece of work if you're trying to get a proper grip on his characterization. He's somehow so contradictory that it's hard to incorporate it all without making him seem bipolar. >.< I'm sure the more your story progresses, the easier it'll get. :D
Lol, try the "media: fanfiction" tag. ^^ I've only used it once, so the writing in the tag list next to the journal entries might be too small to read it, but you can always get to a more readible tag list via my user profile. =3
