Colbert's audience laughed at the the accents, etc., but ultimately, they thought these people were pretty cool.

And yes, once again, the person most opposed was the town pastor. But I give credit to Colbert for showing the simple speech of a townsperson who can't reconcile what the bible says with his knowledge that gay people ARE born gay.

I shared this with some friends at work, and yes, I did comment on his kicks that were as high as the Rocketts.
