I went to Mickey D's for the first time in about a year and wow, it was weird. I don't know if this is a new trend or just some wacky experiment but here is how it was decorated (most everything seemed to be faux). Leather/tapestry booths, topiaries, soft lighting, tile floor, faux hardwoods on walls and tables, and stained glass. There was a lounging area with leather couches and coffee tables. They even had a waterfall and classical music playing. But my favorite part was the little bookshelves on the walls between the booths. They were too narrow to fit real books so they had books cut in half. Stupid ridiculous cunning company will probably get me to go back there just so I can show people how wacky it is.
