ooh, hot damn!! in all of my bitching about how crappy my day was looking, I forgot the really awesome, happy update. yesterday, during folder time (when we go over what jase has brought home from school that day) I was looking through the stuff in his folder, while he was looking through the book he brought home from the library, when I hear,
"The next day, Arthur, D.W., and their friends... hey mom, what's this word?"
"um.. 'went'"
"..went shopping."
MY BABY IS READING!!
(although i find it entirely odd he has no problem with "friends" or "shopping" but needs help with "went", I'm too tickled to question it too much.)
