(no subject)
Iye! This heat is tryin' to slow me down! It's working! I am goin' slower! Trying to get as much prepared 'n planted in the morning until it's too hot to be watering plants! Then it's inside housecleaning cuz it's a little more tolerable! Then after supper till I can't see no more! I only have a quarter of the garden planted! Starting to feel oh so slightly anxious! Jame wants/needs a slow weekend 'n all I need is the pump running for irrigation! That's all I'm gonna bug him for! I even went out 'n bought some bags of soil today so I didn't have to bother anyone for triple mix. And there's already enough piles around here! :) He likes the piles though 'n he's gotta cut the grass around 'em anyways! And the piles r there cuz J is making his very own golf club in his back yard 'n asked if we would help out last weekend. Apparently the Mrs. only comes out looking like a million dollars when I'm there. Women! She made her kitchen messy for us with some fancy meals which we were grateful for! The way to a man's heart... I didn't feel worthy enough to go in the house though 'n didn't want to make it dirty either! It's a mansion! Jame went in to use the bathroom 'n said there's a swan that spits out hand soap from Paris France! That's probably just the powder room! The main bathroom must have an elephant by the bathtub 'n when you lift up it's tail water comes out of his trunk into the tub! Woah!
We made his heart happy 'n Jame said he scored some brownie points! :) And we have a new beer buddy who shares his last few! And I have wine! With some chocolate... hmmm! :)
Finally got the freezer moved now that the tile is mostly done! It's just a piece by the doorway but Walter is quitting tiles for the time being! :) He wants more time for his experiments!
The wood is primered, 'n marked for cutting. Now I just have to find the time 'n energy to do the next step! I've asked Jame if I see a table saw for a reasonable price... 'n he's okay with that, but I also want to start picking up kitchen cupboards! So many wishes! :) Better keep cutting grass! It's every two weeks, which is fine for my parents cuz their gas powered gets through it but my Gram has this stupid ass electric wussy ass lawn mower that doesn't sound good when I'm trying to cut it! *sigh*
Dee is off the crutches 'n limping around. She just can't bend the knee! She heard me yelling the other morning 'n thought I was in trouble 'n couldn't see me out the window so she dropped the crutches 'n started walkin' on it to try 'n find me! L'amore! I am so blessed to be luved! I explained that I was yelling at Darren across the road sayin' Morning.... 'n he commented on our neighbour selling. I told him they were tired of the firefighters! I wish the crazy lady was selling 'n not Steve, Melisa...
Newest member of Nature's sanctuary: a gopher! She was watching me the other night! And I saw our little snapping turtle too! It's growing! Hopefully with us walking in 'n out it'll get used to us 'n never try 'n take a toe! Monday I was in there splashing around 'n then fell in that night! Maybe I should stop drinking beer on top of bein' exhausted! Nope, the rows in the garden aren't very straight! Don't like straight anyways!
I imagine after this weekend I'll have my second burnout! It's like I can't physically move anymore cuz I'm so worn out that I almost fall over 'n fall asleep for two hours! It's worth the veggies though! And the amigos want 100 jars of salsa this fall. And Jame wants zucchini relish. And I want sauerkraut! Crap, do I even have seeds for zucchini!?
I hope 'n wish 'n believe 'n trust it will rain this weekend!
Gotta turn Jame over! He's gonna wake up the neighbours with his snoring! :) And I really want to close my eyes! Did anyone walk the dog!? *sigh* :)
