(no subject)
Kay, that was fun. Was in bed ready to journal when we heard reverse sounds... 'n then red lights flashing from the window. So I went out to greet all the firemen! There must of been 12. I lost count! So I'm like, What's up guys!? They said they were here to put out a fire, but I told them we just got home 'n didn't know of any fires! They asked to look around so I showed them the path to the back. I did tell the captain that the neighbour lady has them on speed dial 'n uses government peeps to bully all the neighbours. He felt bad but they can't not respond. So off they went. Jame was pissed! He didn't like the fact that they were walking all over the property, but I reminded him that the trees only let certain peeps in nature's sanctuary.
Got enough stress goin' on here! Good thing I've got chocolate! :)
I'm glad I don't have to drive Jame tomorrow morning cuz he came home with a load of brush/grass/soil tonight. I've moved four loads so far! I've got the weekend to move this one! All the gardens are getting "poor man's mulch"! It'll keep the weeds away 'n end up being good soil in a year or two! He was told to keep up with it 'n now it gets dropped off at the end of the driveway so he doesn't have to drive over the lawn! Now Wayne can't come in on weekends 'n "milk" the time! Unfortunately all Jame gave me is a wheel barrow so it takes me most of the day walking back 'n forth! It's worth it though! And who knows! Maybe I'll get a free trip after the 30th load! :) I told Nise the other day that I hadn't started packing yet 'n she said, Don't. I told Jame I wanted to buy tickets to Scotland so I can look for Billy! :) Is that stalking!?! :)
The kitchen is slowly turning red! :) I've been doing section by section. And now that the wall shelves are away from the wall, I can put some panelling on the back. Jame figures he'll get the tile floor downstairs done this weekend. Yay says me! I want to start getting in there 'n organizing jars, 'n even start preserving! I hope we get grapes this year! Now that I'm aware that warmer temps make a stronger drink! ;) I actually have my amigos out there with paint brushes pollinating cuz the bees are so few. Hopefully Mason bees this fall! It's only been how many years that I've been desiring...!
Dee twisted her leg so she's on crutches 'n cherries! Cherries are natural pain killers remember! Half a day later she went from wanting to scream 'n never stop crying to half the pain 'n the swelling was drastically reduced! Gotta luv Nature! :)
Bran has been rather stressful lately. It's mentally exhausting at times. The things he does 'n knowing what drives him to chosen actions. It doesn't help either when I'm so tired! I have to say my piece 'n get outside. I love bein' outside! With all the plants 'n trees 'n... oh yea, I got a really close fly by from three peregrine falcons!!! Favourite birds! :)
I've been checking out the frogs more closely after watching families down south fry 'n eat frog legs. Hmmm.
Peck 'n Chubby finally got outside 'n had their first worms! I ordered a small incubator so I can start my own chicks. Still waiting on the mail man but excited that it's got all the "bells 'n whistles"!
Turns out the universe finally gave me a "guy" who luvs veggies! Hee hee! Thor eats broccoli (raw or cooked), spinach 'n peas 'n tonight he was eating cherries! So my cat is gonna survive the day when we can't get to the store for cat food! :) He's such a great personality! And he's a good snuggler! :)
I hope it rains this weekend! :) It's getting dry!
