culture day
It's 49 degrees outside and cold but I've spent the vast majority of my life in Chicago and in Boston, where it's at least 10 degrees colder. My pride will not allow me to turn the heater on yet, but....... I need gloves to be comfortable in my room. Augh, these obstacles!
To the people who have been pointing it out-- thank you and I swear I will fix the photobucket ads on my lj soon. ;__;
Today we had a random national holiday. I like this about Japan. There are a lot of random national holidays. (Nevertheless, I spent a portion of my afternoon working. Oh well.)
If I have read the situation right, starting tomorrow I will be very busy and very stressed again, interpreting weird technical lingo that I am not ready for. YES.
But also, if I have read the situation correctly, I am in store to go to some pretty nice restaurants this week for work! I will probably have to pay for it, though. I hope dearly that they actually let me eat.
After this week is over I am off to Tokyo to recharge!
