1) I need to stop giving people wrong phone numbers, apparently. In the last month alone I've messed up my own cell phone number twice -- not to random people but just co-workers. Ahhhh.
2) I think my stomach is getting smaller? I ordered a regular fast food combo meal at a food court today and by the time I was finished I thought I was, like, pregnant or something. I used to be able to eat that kind of thing without feeling engorged. So much guilt. I walked a lot today to try to balance it out. :/ Ahhh it's like I have an anchor in my stomach or something.
Needless to say I am banning myself from unhealthy food for the rest of the day. Mango sticky rice and/or bubble tea will have to wait for tomorrow :((
3) I finished three museums today! I went to Freer & Sackler because they had a lot of Asian art (and although, again, I'm not that interested) so I felt obligated, but it turned out to be incredibly interesting. Not so much art as artifacts, ceramics, carved things, scrolls, etc. It was really cool. I wandered in a little before 3pm and wandered out at 4:40pm (they're pretty small) from the National Museum of African Art. I'm not sure how that happened, but the African carvings and masks and ivory things were super super interesting and I'm very glad I (accidentally) went.
I was going to go to the National Archives but the line was crazy today.
4) Really not liking how dirty my roommates are. It seems the only things they clean are themselves and the dishes -- if you're lucky. Both rooms are a mess (their sides), the bathroom floor is horrifying, the kitchen has crumbs/paper/bags/everything all over the place... and I don't want to clean up after everyone but there comes a point where I can no longer handle the dirty. The worst thing is, they don't seem to notice even when I do clean everything and it's all dirty again in about a day.
It's nice that you wash your dishes (most of the time), but when you drop something you're cooking, pick it up! When you spill something, clean it! Dishes are not the only thing you dirty in the cooking process. Is this not obvious. And still they dare to insinuate that other people are not clean?
