This is the first time I've needed my precious day off this much. Monday and today were really busy!
Anyway, breaktime. JIN PRESS CONFERENCE~~~
I watched Speed Racer religiously when it was on Cartoon Network. I'm so excited that I can now associate it with Jin!
Speed Racer opens on the 5th -- it will still be showing in Japan when I go, right? Right?? I need someone to watch it withhhhhhh!!! I am so excited *______*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOWvpWAzN7c&feature=related Questioner: The two of you didn't meet during the dubbing, right?
Jin: No, we didn't.
Q: What is it like, formally, having your on-screen girlfriend next to you?
J: I thought, she's really cute...
Aya: Oh, come on.
J: No, really! I think you're really cute.
Q: So you were listening to Akanishi-san's voice during dubbing?
A: Yes, right here... listening to his sexy voice.
Q: What do you mean by "sexy voice"?
A: When you listen to him with headphones, his voice sounds like it's mixed with sighs... or, better yet, it's very breathy, and matches really well with Speed in the movie. I listened while thinking, "What a gorgeous voice!"
Q: Is your voice always like that?
J: If my voice were always breathy, that would be scary! It would freak people out.
Akanishi Jin, in his first voice acting role... and Ueto Aya, who does the voice of his girlfriend.
[Movie synopsis-y stuff.]
Incidentally, both have drivers' licenses.......
A: I need to renew mine this year.
J: Oh, I do too. I have to go soon!
Q: You like to go driving, don't you?
J: Yes, I do.
Q: Where was the furthest you've driven?
J: Nagoya.
A: Whoa, cool! What for?
J: ...to eat chicken wings.
A: Whoaaa.
J: I took a KAT-TUN member, Nakamaru, with me.
Q: So do you listen to KAT-TUN songs in the car?
J: ....no! I prefer Western music.
Q: What about you, Ueto-san? Where was the furthest you've driven?
A: I think probably Funabashi.
J: That's a very basic place...
A: Usually the IKEA in Funabashi is about the only place I go.
Q: So you don't drive yourself very often, huh?
A: Yes, I drive pretty infrequently. I like the passenger's seat the best, after all...
Q: During dates, too?
A: During dates, the passenger's seat is better, too. If someone asked me to drive I might get too nervous and get into an accident!
Q: Where would you want to go with your boyfriend on a date?
A: My ideal would be saying something like, "Oh, I want to eat that!" and driving for as long as it takes to have a nice meal.
Q: Hope you don't get fat.
A: Quiet!
Q: Akanishi-san, where would you want to go with your girlfriend?
A: See! He keeps asking strange questions, right?
J: I'm a pro at those kinds of questions! I usually don't go by a plan. It would be nice to just drive out somewhere on a whim, completely impulsively.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7FJsu-qj7U&feature=related Q: What if you could really drive the Mach 5?
J: When there's a lot of traffic, it has the capability of flying, right? I think that would be incredibly convenient. I'll ask Johnny-san to make one sometime.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYSizwQFsXY&feature=related I really don't think I have a sexy voice. I've been told that so often now that it's kind of embarrassing. In my first experience, I was impressed to learn that there are various rules to voice acting, too... it has been full of new insights.
The bags under his eyes are back DDD: I guess it is concert season, after all. Go to sleep, Jin! DD:
