KAME:
「For a first date, I always thought picking a girl up at the Sakuragi-cho station in a car would be really cool. In reality, it was a scene from a drama (「Tatta hitotsu no koi」 2006), though (laugh), a favorite city」 that he picked for his solo photo shoot was Yokohama. From coincidentally running into an air show at the harbor and spotting one of his favorite shops, he also had his first try at feeding ducks at a park near the ocean. During the cafe shoot, 「Is it supposed to be like a date? I don't know what I should do~」 Embarrassed, he acted the part of the boyfriend, saying things like 「Do you want to eat both of the cakes? Okay, I'll take half!」 「How much milk do you want? Say stop when it's enough!」
JIN:
The theme of the photo shoot was 「trendy people that live in Ebisu」. On top of that, the request was with "an intellectual image." 「If you say "intellectual," I'm the one that comes up, right? No? ... I'm sorry」 he laughed, but looked very refreshing in glasses for a change. When I told him about the different places we would be going to take pictures at, he suggested a schedule that would cover the route most efficiently. At the cafe, he took the English photobook that the camera man had prepared and translated it to Japanese while reading the English smoothly. Demonstrating his English skills, 「Is this right? I'm better at speaking than translating text.」
JUNNO:
「I want to ride a cruiser! And, wear Hawaiian shirts and eat curry buns and play along the beach... so I can tell everyone else we did the photo shoot in Hawaii!」 The "fake Hawaii" photo shoot took place at Hayama. It rained all morning, but the sky cleared just in time for the shoot to start! Sailing out on the cruiser, he watched the captain's area with interest and took poses on the deck, 「Am I like the Ishihara Yuujirou of this generation?」 (Ishihara Yuujirou was a really famous actor/singer of the 1950s and 60s in Japan) Responding to Taguchi's enthusiasm, the captain generously lengthened the route to Izu bay. 「I came here a lot as a child to learn yachting and to go fishing on boats」-- Taguchi's boyish spirits make it easy to understand why he goes so well with the ocean!
KOKI:
「I went with a friend to Kyoto and got back on a night bus just this morning」says Koki, as he makes his way to Shibuya for his solo shoot. 「It's the place I met my best friend, and I have a lot of memories here. I'd like to go to a club and behind an alleyway in Maruyama-cho.」 Koki, who explains his choice, apparently cares a lot for his friends. 「I've prayed at this temple before!」 「The parking lot that used to be here is gone now, huh~」he comments, as we pass through the alleys. It was a day off, but 「I'm totally fine! Maybe I'll run into a friend~」 he says as we venture to take pictures against the crowded center street. At the used record shop, he was totally engrossed in listening to songs!
UEDA:
「How about taking pictures while I train for boxing? I'll bring my own gloves!」 suggested Ueda. He started because of a manga, but he has now been boxing for over two years. Right now, he goes to the gym six times a week, and even after work, he won't skip his 10km run. 「Why do I do so much? I don't want people to think I'm doing this half-heartedly」 he explains passionately while deftly wrapping his hands that are already used to bandages. As the sand bags are carried in, his eyes shine, and he throws forceful punches as if forgetting that he is being photographed. Pay attention to the upper arm muscles that caught even the camera man's eye!
NAKAMARU:
「Tokyo Tower, the seaside at Odaiba, the Raimon Gate at Asaukusa, the gingko trees at the Meiji Shrine's outer garden... it sounds a little like going sightseeing at Tokyo's famous spots, huh?」 Nakamaru listed his favorite places. The "tour" began at Odaiba. Spotting a family relaxing along the beach, he looked a little jealous, 「If I had children, I would definitely want to come to someplace like this to for fun~」 Eating dango at Asakusa, roaming the stores inside the shrine, he also told me about good spots to look at Tokyo Tower. The miniature dachshund that appears in the pictures with the gingko trees is "Mister," 3 years old. 「He thinks he's my friend!」 The two played together harmoniously.
Why don't I ever see Kame at Sakuragi-cho. ;O; It is not fair that once they say things like this they will probably never go to those places again, but it doesn't stop me from looking for Jin when I am at Minato Mirai. x___x
It's also kind of interesting that Koki and Nakamaru's photo shoots are in really people-heavy areas and Kame's and Jin's are super cropped and secluded in weird places that aren't really representative of Ebisu or Yokohama. They are hiding!!! D:
I find it adooorable that Jin requested to be intellectual. Hee hee ♪
