fake easters and coincidences
Maki and I went out to dim sum yesterday, and we had Easter lunch and dinner pot luck-ing kind of with some of her friends. There has been a lot of YouTube in between, as to be expected of the Maki Nakao experience.

We've been watching a lot of ARASHI and Kanjani8 in general; I wasn't a huge fan of them before but I decided that I still really really like Aiba and Yasu and Maru. ♥
At dinner tonight one of the girls was talking about how she was taking an early flight to Poland and waiting for her friend to come pick her up. She had been talking about someone named Kevin for a while but she had mentioned that she liked the last name Hartnett when I started wondering if she was talking about my childhood friend. I had just found out a few days ago that he was abroad in London, and it was him. He came to eat and it was awkward and he didn't recognize me at all for a good two minutes, but it was nice to see him again. I never imagined when he and I and his sister were little and watching movies or playing video games that he would be what he is now. I don't mean that in a bad way or anything, it's just crazy how hard it is to reconcile the images.
