Apparently I'm thinking about making the largest purchase of my life and my mom thinks I'm too irresponsible and my life is too unpredictable for it. Well then.
I can afford the downpayment by myself by using well under a quarter of my total savings.
I'm not planning to leave this city anytime soon.
I'm choosing a place that, to the best of my common sense judgment, has "resale value."
My job is stable and if I change (which it's likely I will eventually), I would obviously plan to maintain or increase my salary.
