It strikes me that I ramble a lot now without much to show for how I spend the rest of my time. After pushing myself in a million directions, I am still not incredibly comfortable in Tokyo but some cool things have come out of it.
I went on my second "lunch trip" last weekend, and dragged friends with!
Lunch Trip is a really cool Tokyo-based organization that does internationalization and exposing Tokyo-ites to other countries and cultures firsthand ... by eating :)
I also have
a favorite Meetup group, and go to events here and there with people I've met there. Today I went to explore
this really cool area with small artists' shops (and
a hammock cafe) in Akihabara/Okachimachi and had
dinner in Tsukishima.
Monja is a million times yummier than it looks.
I need to go to my exercise studio tomorrow for sure, and work on getting back into my food-making rhythm. Maybe an excursion to Ginza is also on the agenda? IN ANY CASE, big plans!
