It's a three day weekend! I needed this so badly. My mom will be here at the end of this week, and hopefully while she's here I will be less tired and she'll help me move -- when I live 30 minutes (or less!) from work, I think my quality of life will be a lot better.

Yesterday I went to Ryogoku with a co-worker to watch the 7th day of the Grand Sumo Tournament. I really like sumo, and I'm much more into it than many people expect, I think, but it was my first time going to see the actual thing in real life. We went to the box office at opening time for the at-the-door tickets (which I was led to believe would be hard to get -- they aren't!), watched some Jonoguchi Divison matches, went shopping and had lunch in Asakusa, and came back in time for Juryo and Makunouchi Divisions.

IT WAS SO FUN. The matches were so good, the crowd was so into it-- I had a blast. It was a long and tiring day, but worth it, and I'd totally go again. We also ended up sitting in much better seats than we had paid for, because it was such an empty house (at least in the upper tiers).

I spent today playing Pigg Life with Wenjin, basically, as has been the case during most of my free time, but I'm meeting up with an online friend(?!) in Shinjuku tomorrow to watch Kamisama no Karute, the Sho/Miyazaki Aoi movie. I'm not that excited, but we'll see.
