one week later
My official offer letter came. I feel better. A little bit anxious still, but better. I won't think too much about the over 30 applications and 11 other interviews...;;; I DID IT! In a week, too.
So...
Today I went to see Atari Kousuke do an outdoor mini concert/single release event nearby (again free!). I had seen him on TV singing hana a while back, and it was thrilling to hear it live! I really like the traditional island style of singing, and he is so good at it -- his tagline is the gentlest voice on this earth:
These events are doing wonderful things for me. I miss my old life dearly, but this is making things better.
In the shopping area I also found this display case:
I kind of understand the advantage of having a square watermelon especially considering how small Japanese refrigerators are, but the rest of these...... the second to last on the right was a heart-shaped one. I don't know. I have a feeling Japanese people are prioritizing the wrong things.
