New journal, but I've been on LJ since 2001. I don't update as often as I used to, but I keep up with my friends list. I'm very selective about who I add because after being on here so long I know what I want and don't want in an LJ friend

Hello there!

I hear that you are looking for new friends (but I see also that you want more people your own age). I might be in your eyes an -old- lady but I'm 32 in mind (if not younger) ;o) (turning 50 *gasp* next month). I think friendship is based on the heart though, and not on a number so i thought I gave it a shot anyway.
I came over here to have a look on advise from Marty (smokkee911). You might have seen my name in her lj (especially when it comes to spamming her like crazy LOLLLLL)
I know i have noted in my bio that I'm not adding new friends for the moment.. but when she suggested you, and I came to have a look and read, I smiled wide with what I found, and that tells me we would perhaps might get along.
I'm also on Lj since 2001 (with a different lj at first) -> had to leave there due of drama (which I hate!!!!)

Anyways.. I'm rambling ain't I?
You're always free to check out my profile, see my comment-amount, and watch the icons i use. They all tell a LOT about me. *bows head in shame*
or just ask Marty what a character I am. hahaha *holds heart for what SHE will say*

I really should fix this because what I really mean is that I'm just not into adding people who are 18 or so. -_- Having been that age myself I wouldn't know how to reply to their posts, honestly! :o Yesss, she told me about you! She didn't mention your username, but she did tell me about an epic spamming that happened on one (many?) of her posts. :D

You know, I think I've actually looked at your profile before but then I read that you weren't adding so I didn't comment. Having read your profile I feel we'd get along as well! A fellow longtime LJ-er? *high five* I feel like there's few of us left. :\

lol @ "holds heart for what SHE will say" :D :D Nothing but good things, I promise you! Forget to mention that I loved looking through your icons! I think they really say a lot about someone for sure.

heh my icons i use for adding an extra touch when it comes to showing emotions. :o)
Where is the time I *ever* was happy with having just 6 ! *sigh*
I often check icons a person uses. The other day I was getting quite well along with someone in a conversation, but when I looked at his icons!! OMGGG!! They were all about rough sex and nasty stuff. Nope, not adding him!! No! *shakes head*

hehe yeah, that epic spamming would be *me* alright. It was endlessblush and me who gotten all over her because we felt it was pay-back-time for all the spamming she did to us. hahaha. She wàs expecting it somehow though, but still we managed to surprised her. *grins*

there are still old users here, you just have to search for them as they're rare. I have a few on my list though who already have journals from back in the days.
LJ has changed since than. It became more locked up yet one big family. Too bad I lost a bunch of really good friends to FB! *urgh*

On my old account I had a whole bunch but I found myself using the default so much that I ended up not getting them as an add-on. I agree about them adding an extra something. You have such a good variety. :D OMG that's such a let down! :? Think about what your icons say about you, people!

Some of the old timers I've seen around but I'm super picky. -_- I need to get better at finding them. Yes, FB. *glare* Guess some people prefer less in-depth communication. FB will never come close to LJ awesomeness.

yeah she did a fair bit of spamming in our Lj's, so we felt it was payback time. It's not all that easy though because of the time difference. endlessblush is from Australia, and I'm from Belgium, so we half a day difference in time. hehe but we DID it alright :pp

oh noooo FB will NEVER come close to LJ!! Lj rocks!!
