(no subject)
Yikes, now I'm getting threats if I don't continue to update this thing. Here comes the second entry, just so I don't get yelled at by Somalia.
I had a great weekend, and it was the first time in about 2 weeks that I slept longer than 6 hours a night! Yay for sleep! Friday night I went swing dancing, which was awesome. I danced for about 5 hours straight, and when I woke up the next morning, three of my toes were numb (never a good sign). So, I decided to take a break from the dancing for a few days. I also have a jammed pinky finger that doesn't bend very well now, so I'm spending some quality time with ice and Advil.
On Saturday, I had a girl's night out with Shannon. For those of you who don't know her, she lived in Scales and graduated in '01. Now she lives in D.C. and is married. So her husband went to the fancy White House Correspondents Dinner, and Shannon and I went out to eat and to see "Mean Girls." I highly recommend it if you like Tina Fey's comedy. Hilarious! Lindsay Lohan is great in it, and the guy is a hottie. Aliya, I don't understand how you can like Hillary Duff and not like L.L. Let's take a poll...post a comment with who you like more: the skanky, ditzy, ho Hillary Duff - or the cute, smart, down to earth girl from the Parent Trap, Lindsay Lohan. I also got to watch SNL Saturday night with Lindsay and Usher. Can we talk about how much I love Usher? Well, we could, but I don't think we can put X rated things on LiveJournal.
So, that was my weekend. Sunday was filled with movies, cleaning, and laundry (YAAAY!). And the big news is, KENDRA IS COMING TO VISIT!!!! WOOHOO! It's been so long, and she is coming to DC today! Hopefully I'll get to see her today, but we are definitely hanging out on Wednesday. Oh how I miss my Weetibugs...
