Hump Day
So I've been keeping very busy the last week. Here's a summary:
Over the weekend I went dancing, went to an Orioles game at Camden Yards (where they got killed by the goddamn Braves), helped Shannon and Jonathan with their move, had several margaritas, and baked my very first homemade pizza while wearing my brand new apron!
Last night I went swing dancing, which is always fun. Not many good leaders there, so I got the chance to lead a lot! Yay for dancing with other women...reminds me of the good old days at Smith.
After dancing, a few of us decided to go out for beers. This was probably a stupid decision, seeing as I'm now going on 5 hours of sleep, and I'm going out again tonight. Oy. However, it was tons of fun. I ended up in handcuffs at the end of the night...alright, no arrests and no kinky stuff. One of the guys works for the State Dept. and was playing around.
Anyway, that's the update for the past few days. On Friday, I leave for Detroit for a dance competition weekend, and to spend some quality time with the 'rents and my diabetic doggy.
