For fear of being yelled at by Ms. Niazi (and to provide her with another outlet for procrastination), I'm finally getting ot updating this thing.
Work has been busy, as we're still preparing for the event at the Boston convention. I found out that the program I'm attending (called Revolutionary Women) at the convention just added two new speakers. On top of Hillary and some other women politicians, Madeleine Albright and Jennifer Granholm (gov. of Michigan) are also speaking! Very excited about this.
Other than that I've been dancing a lot, as usual. My feet are pretty much sore all the time now...I think drugs may be the answer. I have been out every night this week, and I am exhausted! I stayed out way too late Tuesday and Wednesday night, and I'm resorting to a lot of caffeine to keep me going at work.
And tonight, I'm going to the press screening of Spider Man 2! Since Shannon doesn't like these types of movies, her husband takes me! I heard a little rumor that Toby and Kirsten can't stand each other. Apparently, they had a little fling during the first movie and it went sour. So now, they don't speak to each other. I love gossip.
This weekend I'm going to Camden Yards to catch an Orioles game with some dance friends, helping Shannon clean the condo they just bought, and dancing yet again! A fully-packed week/weekend, but it's a hell of a lot better than watching fowl run around (what I did in Germany for more hours than any human should in a lifetime). Next weekend I'm headed home for the 4th of July. I'll be dancing and competing at an event downtown Detroit, and helping my parents move - they finally sold their house!!! Fortunately, I get to be in my old house one last time. I'll also get to choose my room and help organize the new place. To prepare for the dance weekend, I'm going shopping with a friend to buy some "slut shirts." She informed me this is what I need to be wearing, especially since the ex will be there. Should be an interesting weekend.
