Yes, it's Thursday here in the world of gun control, but it feels like Friday. Why, you might ask? Because our office is CLOSED tomorrow!!! WOOHOO! I am very much looking forward to my 4 day weekend. True, I'm too poor to go anywhere or do much of anything, but it will be nice to have time to actually hang out in my apartment.
Ok, I have a pet peeve to vent now...I really don't like it when older guys hit on you when they know how young you are. I'm all about dating men that are older, but late 30s - mid 40s? uh uh. Do you gross men know that I could be your child? It's icky and pervy, so they need to stop now. That's my pet peeve of the day. Old dirty men and the ever-annoying cicadas...eww.
So, the big weekend plans include: hanging shit on my walls (well, not poop...), WWII memorial dedication ceremony, dancing, movies, etc. And, the rooftop pool opens this weekend. So I will be spending some quality time up there trying to correct my very odd tan lines.
