It's been awhile since I've updated the journal, and so much has happened. I won't bore all of you with all of the details, but here's a quick, bland rundown of the weekend...if you want the juicier gossip, gotta email me (see, I'm a little paranoid about the fact that anyone and their mom can read my LiveJournal).
Friday night I went dancing all night...lots of fun.
Saturday - got up early to go play in the DC Mayor's Kickball Tournament! At first, thought it would be a joke, but then turned into a very serious competition once we realized 1) we were good, 2) winners get big trophies 3) the winners get to meet the Mayor! 4) it was hotter than hell, and if you're gonna get sun burned, sweaty, and muddy, you might as well win.
Unfortunately, we lost in the bottom of the last inning by one run. sigh. I almost could have called myself a kickball champion, but alas, we had to settle for the 2nd place trophy.
Saturday night, went out for a drink, hung out.
Sunday - Dance workshop for 2 1/2 hours, then out to dinner with some friends.
All in all, a fantastic weekend!
