(no subject)
Sorry it's been so long since my last posting. As most of you know, I was at Smith for graduation weekend. It was an incredible few days, and I'm so glad I decided to go. Thanks to Kendra for making it possible by haulin' my ass back and forth from the airport!
I am exhausted this morning, as I had a dance lesson and then a social dance last night (yes, I am officially addicted). So, this won't be very long. It was so wonderful seeing everyone, and I got to see a lot more people than I expected. I am incredibly proud of the seniors...I remember the day I first met all of you when you were scared little first-years (I know, I sound like I'm 60). It was great to be able to see you all grown up and graduating, and then drink some beers, talk, and eat a lot of fried food with you every night. While I had the best time, my stomach felt like crap on Monday!
I can't wait for the weetibug reunion this summer - it must happen! And you are all always welcome to visit in DC! We'll BBQ by the pool while trying to avoid the nasty little cicadas. ewww.
In other Smithie news, I'm going to a Smith reception on Capitol Hill today right after work. Shannon and I are going to this event that's being held by two Smithie Representatives. Who knows what it will be like, but if it sucks, Shannon and I will probably just get drunk. Classy, huh?
