Summary: Zack’s first impression of the Jeffersonian, and maybe more importantly of Dr. Temperance Brennan

Zack walked in to the lab, nervous over his interview with Dr. Brennan. She had given him the chance of being her student, but he had to pass the interview first. Zack was never good with people; he had never been a people person.
He was early he was always early. He had been early his whole life, because being late meant that you’d miss Important things. Zack could never imagine missing something important, unless it was something related to pop culture. He did never have the fascination with celebrities and their lives. If he watched TV it was always something scientific or at least educational.
The lab was big, clean and... perfect. It looked like nothing could go wrong, but on the same side everything could go wrong. Zack hoped he would get the job, he had always dreamt about working at a place like this since he first realized that he loved the human body, especially the bone structure of it.
He always knew he was slightly different from everybody else, how he was somewhat if not a lot smarter than most people. He always knew it, and he always feared he never would fit in anywhere, but when he looked around the Jeffersonian, he felt like he could belong here. Like he really could fit. He had never felt that in any place before. Not even the boarding school for extremely talented kids he had gone too. He never belonged anywhere. But this time, this time it would be better. Then he saw her, Dr. Temperance Brennan.
Zack had heard a lot about Temperance Brennan, how she was the most talent forensic anthropologist there was. He had also heard she graduated top of her class both in high school and in every other school, she might have gone after that. However, nothing Zack might have heard could have prepared him on what Temperance Brennan really was.
She was beautiful, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and she had a grace over her that Zack never had seen in any woman before. She didn’t need to doll herself up, she was so naturally beautiful, so perfect. Just like the place, he hopefully would start to work at. He had not even met her yet and still she was the most amazing woman he’d ever seen.
And she was the woman who maybe would be his teacher, and suddenly he got all those teacher/student stories that his brothers always favoured to read. She was the perfect example on a hot teacher. If Zack was, in doubt about whether he wanted the job or, not all his doubts would have disappeared only by looking at Temperance Brennan.
And that was the moment Zack knew that if he got the position he would defiantly enjoy it there.
A/N: This one is also short, like my first one was. But I don't know the characters good enough to write longer ones..yet. But maybe one day in the future ? We'll just have to wait and see,., HOPE YOU ENJOY !
