Hello, Livejournal! I keep forgetting to update you. Or log in and click that "Friends Page" link.
So! I have finished my program and am now an undisputed master of library and information science. This means that when information sees me, it is compelled to bow deeply and fetch my slippers. I don't feel quite finished yet, though, since I don't have the diploma yet and do have a job interview Monday on the other end of the state. Once I get back from that, I expect to feel a proper sense of completion. And naps. I expect to feel lots of naps.
Today was also my last day to do things at my university and expect a paycheck for my efforts. I cleaned up my space in the back office, left a note in the log book at the desk, and went home to shovel ice cream in my mouth. Next comes frozen pizza.
Yesterday was my last day at the Fashion Library. Handing in my key was a surprisingly sad experience (noooo my power center), but being taken out for beer and Brie afterward made up for it. And I discovered that a 50/50 mix of Framboise and Great Lakes Blackout Stout is more delicious than anything has a right to be.
