Today I finally got the right person on the phone to work out my enrollment/acceptance issues at Kent State, so I should be one fax away from being ready for registration. Unless another school offers me a phat scholarship package sometime soon, I think I shall indeed be heading for Ohio this fall. Just got a bit more paperwork to do for financial aid now.
Then I did some research on ellipticals because my treadmill is trying to die and my mother and I have agreed to share cost and custody of a replacement. I'm going to hit the local Y tomorrow, test their machines, and figure out exactly what features I need to select for. My knees are already giddy at the prospect.
Later I had a chat with the college's technical support about my inability to send e-mails to anyone in the Continuing Education department. I can receive all the mail I want, see, but everything I've sent in the last ten days has returned to my inbox in the form of a delivery failure. Apparently I am not the only person having this problem. Oh, technology. At least now the department is aware that I'm not bad at e-mail.
I also popped in my shiny new copy of Rogue Galaxy and am so far pleased with it. Active battles in which I bounce around like a spastic, sword-and-gun-wielding kangeroo while my robot friends unleash barrages of missiles? Yes, please. And there are pirates, which are usually all I need to be happy. I'll be lending it to my brother later this week in exchange for FFXII, which I really need to finish and which, delightfully, also contains pirates. (So does the upcoming DS Zelda game, for that matter, since it's a direct sequel to Wind Waker. I ought to go ahead and pre-order that.)
And now it's past my bedtime.
