I started jogging again on Friday. I note the date here so that I can either track how long it takes me to throw my knee out again or celebrate how long it behaves itself. See, I've left off running long enough now that I'm sure whatever damange I did last time has healed, and I've been exercising in the interim in low-impact, knee-strengthening ways. Let us not repeat last year's comedy of errors on the exercise front.
And I'm being good this time, really. I'm spending longer warming up, and I am not too proud to spend half my time speed-walking instead of running. (Note that I'm not trying anything crazy like only jogging every other day or something. Let's not lose our heads, here.) Twenty-four is too young to have a trick knee, yo.
That said, if I'm on here in two weeks whining about swelling and how itchy the knee brace is, smack me.
