- Proctored a marine biology exam.
- Cleaned up my hard drive a little. Oblivion, how did you make 200+ MB of save files?
- Helped my parents order a MacBook Pro. Mostly, I goaded them into adding shinies. And an iPod.
- Watched my mother's expression as Dad remarked, "Guess I'll have to be more careful about dropping my gadgets now, huh?" She immediately called customer service to add a comprehensive service and repair plan to her order.
- Rearranged another chunk of the Academic Resource Center's personal library. Eventually, organization shall prevail! Also, I will strangle whoever took out those accounting books and re-shelved them in the humanities section.
- Sat around impatiently. Other candidates for strangulation include desk monitors who forget to tell me that my clients have cancelled their appointments.
- Doodled in Painter over my lunch break. Someday I'll figure out anatomy.
- Worn my glasses for the fifteenth day in a row. My eyes are dry and scratchy and entirely averse to contact lenses. Am glad I have nice new glasses, at least.
- Had a muffin.
In about an hour I get to go back to work and stay until 9:30 tonight, and it is only by the grace of cancellation that I got some afternoon downtime. I am not a fan of the normal Monday/Wednesday thirteen-hour stretch, most of which is due to scheduling weirdness and my unwillingness to waste gas money on getting myself ferried repeatedly back and forth.
Tangentially, I had forgotten what an uninspired rush job Mega Man X6 was until the Mega Man X collection cheerfully reminded me. Boy howdy.
