My supervisor called my school today asking for my vacation schedule over Golden Week. I told the teacher manning the phone that I didn't have one yet, seeing as my (limited) travel plans are currently on the unset side of gelatinous. Now I think I'm expected to call and give her a day-by-day breakdown of what I'll be doing, which is a) kind of weird and invasive and b) not very plausible, since I intend to be doing most of my wandering on impulse (e.g., "Today is a Hakodate day!").
I'm already annoyed with her this week (she spontaneously decided that she needed for me to have stamped in at my schools for the last couple years-- even though I was explicitly told not to bother with it-- creating a great deal of work and inconvenience for my JTEs and requiring me to stamp a couple hundred times on a paper calendar), so I'm thinking no, no phone call for her. If she calls me, I will cheerfully reiterate that I'm taking it one day at a time, and then I will enjoy violent video games and remind myself that, come August, I will never have to deal with this woman's special brand of crazy again. I'll also be missing this place like crazy, but I want to focus on the positive.
Anyway.
I've been having a pretty good time reading through the Inform manual today, so I think I'll play me a little KoL and then get back to that. And then tomorrow is a holiday, so I can stay up as late as I want. Hahaha. I am giddy with power and instant noodles.
