I'm either jet-lagged or just wiped out, too, since I got thirteen hours of sleep last night and am still groggy. Alas, for I must eventually drag myself to the shower and out the door in search of nourishment. Should've left some frozen pizzas for myself in the fridge. Bleh.
Anyway, Christmas was good, family was attached at hip, and Internet access did not happen in any appreciable way. I have a stack of stuff I need to be working on, but I really just want to spend today lounging while I get my bearings again and re-adjust to the weather. I greatly prefer the snow to the short-sleeves weather of my family's town, but my little heater seems to be having some difficulties getting the temperature up to where I want it. Plans are currently underway for typing gloves. I should probably pick up some thread and duct tape to facilitate them.
By the way,
_feckless, I completely failed to get in touch with you. Sorry! I spazzed on the fact that my grandfather's birthday was the day before I flew out, and somewhere between gift-shopping, party-planning, packing, and last-minute family matters, I lost all sense and track of time. Now I must hunt you down on AIM. At least I'm at the Board next week, so syncing the schedule shouldn't be too difficult.
Okay, I have to shower. Really, I do. I probably still smell like public transportation. And why on Earth is that "Gonads and Strife" song looping through my head?
Icon is apropos of nothing. Happy Belated New Year's to all, and a Happy Coming of Age Day to me, for it is a public holiday and lets me still be in bed after 9:00. Yay!
I might post something more informative and coherent after I'm clean and caffeinated.
