Our Intrepid Farmer:

Meet General du Fermier. He's a major hottie, as we can all see, but living out in the bush on a farm his family has had for generations means there's not a lot of options available to him when it comes to romance and looking for love. Unless you count the myriad older Garden Club ladies that fuss around him waiting for him to crack & give in to base desires -- and monopolise his hot tub. O_O;;
♥ Let's Meet the Contestants:

♓ Blackforest Fromage-Platteur
Her VERY severe cheekbones, large lips, black oriented fashion sense (it's slimming, darling), and a HUGE black floppy hat gives Blackforest an elegant and mysterious demeanor. Appearing more adult than the rest Blackforest wishes to give up what she believes has been a frivolous jet-setting lifestyle, and is hoping her childhood in the french countryside will give her an edge over the other contestants.

♋ Cupcake Buffet
Valedictorian at high school, and quiet achiever during University, all Cupcake has ever wanted was to grow up, start a family and teach her ten children to say thankyou in six different languages other than Simmlish. Sweet tempered, innocently gullible in a refreshingly naive way, Cupcake was entered into the contest by her well-meaning twin sisters Muffin & Cookie.

♌ Fondue Banquet
Self confessed Man-Eater, Fondue's childhood heroes included Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte & Blueberry Muffin (who she believes always got a bad rap in the Strawberry Shortcake series and really should've been the main character. She wasn't forgetful, her mind was just much more pre-occupied with more important world issues). Fondue knows she's hot, and views the contest more as another conquest to add to her list of achievements rather than a stepping stone to true love.

♊ Marshmallow Bae-Marie
Marshmallow hails from SimJapan, and is heavily into the sweet lolita scene. Her hair is naturally pink so believes that she was destined to become the essence of an educated young lady: sweetness and light with a wit and intelligence to conquer any and every situation with smile and a sparkley screen-tone background complete with matching theme music.

♏ Pistachio Saladbahr
A society lady, Pistachio is from the Riverblossom Saladbahrs. Her love of horse-riding and everything equestrian has drawn her to du Fermier's farmstead due to its potential to become a horse stud. Added to the mix, her grandfather had a lot of business dealings with the du Fermier family and filled an impressionable young Pistachio's mind with tales of intrigue and shenanigan's from his men's club whenever her grandmother and mother were not around. Ms. Saladbahr is keen to discover if some of the General's Grandfather's reputation is hereditary...

♐ Strawberry Fondue
True to her star sign, Strawberry always hits her mark and aspires to greatness in everything that she does. Sweet tempered when she needs to be, appearances are not always as they seem and she always has something scheming and brewing behind her fresh-faced demeanor.

♎ Tiramisu Smorgasboard
With lips made for kissing and other nefarious deeds, Tiramisu's look is true to her creamy coffee namesake. Always ready for a good time, and looking for love in as many places as she can find it, she has a softer, shy side that she tries to hide with bravado and a cool, sleek exterior style.

The Farm:

Ah! The du Fermier Estate. Extensive orchards, a large green house for market gardening, a dam filled with fish & other wildlife not to mention the rather large farmhouse & its recently renovated interior. Throw in the jacuzzi, mobile phone coverage, indoor plumbing and requisite hot water and you've got a mighty fine homestead.

As the contestants survey their home for the next week -- and perhaps for the rest of their lives! -- one question rings out above all others: Who will win the hand and heart of our lonely Farmer?

Production notes:
• OMG! LOL! Coming up with backstories for everyone? GAWDS! XD

• The dessert first names were demanded by lemon_lime35, so I thought large servings of food for last names would fit really well and also be kinda... well dirty. XD She screamed Cupcake and Marshmallow had to be names, and I'm sure a few of the other ones too. XD

• Blackforest was supposed to be a goth -- or atleast thats what the sim creator randomiser made her. I really couldn't stand the dress it'd had assigned her though and so got a little carried away with making her dark and mysterious, but still uber stylish. When I'd finished though I realised I didn't really have any EXTREME personalities or looks. OoOooops!

• Strawberry Fondue was made with endalia's tastes in mind (she came up with the name) and after I had finished her endalia remarked that she reminded her strongly of Mrs. Reynolds (Saffron/Yolanda/Bridget) from Firefly. Cause for friction and potential awesome in the house? I THINK SO!

• It was only after everyone was in the house and day three had passed that I realised -- I'd only given ONE of the women pants. O_O;;; XD

• Erik, my swedish flatmates, was TOTALLY pissed that I didn't make Tiramisu Smorgasboard a more Swedish dessert name and that she didn't look like a totally cliche-ed blonde, blue eyed masseuse. "COME ON!! HER NAME IS SMORGASBOARD AND SHE LOOKS LIKE THAT?!?!" Apparently, some cliches are held loudly and proudly by their countrymen. XD

• Cupcake's penchant for teaching her kids to say thankyou in other languages is directly ripped off of kittenishdolls, who one night told me she wanted to teach her kids to say Merci Beau Coup instead of thankyou. I'm sorry, but right there is the epitome of win. XD

• Tips for anyone looking to do this challenge? The orchard and greenhouse? SO don't need to be that big. XD Even working six of the women at once in the greenhouse for 5 hours meant only three quarters of it got planted, and then when weeding time came around? Not even half of it was accomplished. XD
