Sometimes revelations are fun.
First day back at work for 7 days, and I knew the amount of work I had waiting for me was piling every onwards and upwards. Thing is, its now 4:30pm and I'm done. O_o.
Seriously. O_O My boss told me to offload some of the stuff onto one of my colleagues, and the Senior GD was all "WHOA MORE WORK THAN ME, JESUS!" so how is it that in-spite of not offloading anything, taking a long lunch break, replying to pms on doa and trolling my elljay flist (up to 280 posts back)... I'm done? With more work requests attended to during the course of the day? WTF? How exactly is it that I'm this efficient? O_o

Elljay is once again incredibly fun. I love the mix of communities that I'm linked to -- corsetry, crafts, hand-made books, warcraft, art nouveau and old victorian stuff mostly -- and people are generally posting good stuff, fun stuff, pleasant stuff or even if its angst™ its interestingly put angst. Its like looking at pages of inspirational stuff that make me design new things to try and test and so at the risk of jinxing it all horribly; its fun!
And you know what else? There's conversation to be had in replies. And that in itself is love.

Our internet quota is reset today. OH MY GOD THANKYOU FATHER TIME! Now I can do whatever I like online once more without the stigma of time-outs or the knowledge that I'm lagging Ben's DM run to heck. He can run MC in peace and I can stare at fabric swatches and gigantic 300dpi korean dollfie photos and never effect each other at all. AH! Sweet bliss.
