The Company Outing

This weekend was spent being at the Ordina J-Technologies yearly party. It was held somewhere close to the German border (near a small village called Lattrop) in a very deluxe hotel/estate. However, it's impossible to get there by public transportation, and our friend/collegue that was supposed to drive us there had fallen ill, so
alexilian had organised a collegue from her previous project to drive us there instead. Anyway, it's a 2.5 hour drive from Utrecht to Lattrop.
so we were very glad to have finally arrived.
The afternoon was spent doing a salsa dancing workshop that turned out to be a merengue dancing workshop with the base-steps for salsa tacked on at the end. Anyway, I can now officially dance a very basic merengue.
The big dinner & party was in the evening and night. And I mean literal because although dinner had started at about 20:15, it didn't finish until 23:30. And time was not spent eating a lot, it was spent waiting in queues or at the tables until we were allowed to actually join the queues.
All in all it was fun to spend an entire weekend with
alexilian again.
