Revelations but not in the biblical sense.

Guess what?... I changed my mind about my future again. This time though its final. I AM still going to try for uni but next year now instead of clearing.

After i come back from my hols im going to look fo a job up the centre to earn me some money and gain me a bit more confidence, indepence and indpendence. Also i might go for a law degree instead of media. I know its a lot of hard work, but its always interested me and i like a good debate/argument.

FOOTYS BACK WOOHOO!
I can say 'woohoo' because the mighty Gers are looking good for this season (but don't right celtic off), just hope we can grind out a few wins in europe. Got a few new players in an at least 3 of them are definately european class.

Film wise, only got one more to go in the Coens box-set and its their first 'Blood Simple'. 'Barton Fink' was superb, a story about a scriptwriter who gets writers block. Its actually a religious parable, kind of. Oh yeah and 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' is absolute class. Reminded me why i loved Roald Dahl.
Also, 24 series 4 comes out tomorrow. I should be saving money for my holiday but screw it, its the best tv series ever imo and i'll be up at HMV tomorrow purcahsing it. Then i'll try to watch it all before the trip.

Musically i have a couple of gigs coming up. Well i dont but some bands do. Zutons and Razorlight. I have high expectations for both, but particularly for the latter.
Best news of the year. RADIOHEAD ARE RECORDING!! Again a WOOHOO for this. Ive heard 2 songs strongly rumoured to be heading for the new album (due out next year), and although it was a poor quality live recording, tehy sounded rather good. They seemed to have a mix of the ambient wierdness of Kid A mixed with the more indie and guitar driven Bends. Been listening to some unreleased tracks and some demos and i have come to the conclusion that they are my single favourtie band of all time, overtaking Metallica. One song in particular, featuring Michael Stipe is stunning.

My issues with the film quotes on Jo Whileys staff wars have again arisen. In case you want to phone in one of them is 'Lost In Translation', and its been going for weeks. She even does a (slightly stereotypical) Japanese accent when saying it. Magic Numbers were in live. They're cover was 'Crazy In Love' making them the 10000000000000000 person to cover it (don't quote me on the statistics there, possible exageration). Still not overly impressed by them. I don't htink they're bad, i just don't see them as anything special. Gorillaz or Nine Black Alps were more worthy of a mercury nom imo.

Wow this has to be my longest post ever. Not really a great acheivment considering i've only had 3. Not actually an acheivment at all.
Well i'm going to indulge myself in Dan Brown (clam down) and continue Angels and Demons, the one before the Da Vinci Code, which i'll read after. My friend positively perplexed at the casting of Tom Hanks as Langdon in the movie version. I can now see why. Robert Downey Jr. is a much better option for me.

And on that revelation i shall bid you adeu.
