Well, after my very uncomfortable exam at the ob, i learned that i am about 75% effaced and not dilated at all. We still have our induction appointment on the 3rd, but i also have an ob appointment the day before so he can tell me i'm going to be pregnant forever. On the plus side, my right foot looks like some balloon animal a clown made. Hooray! Thank you,
barkingkat for saying i look about to burst, strangely, that is a comfort (pregnancy rules are weird, i tells ya).
Also, and this has been bothering me for some time, so i've got to get it out, just bear with me. I sent you all a baby shower invite. I am cool with people not coming to the shower; people have lives and all! What has started to worry me is that those invites i sent to the people who didn't come didn't actually make it to the intended recipients but instead, ended up destroyed on the post office floor. They had a very ill-conceived bow on them which, i learned on some field trip to the post office when i was little, can't make it through the sorters all the time. I don't want to know why you couldn't come if you did receive one, as this is not a guilt trip, i just wanted to apologize if anybody felt left out because they didn't receive an invite. Of course you were invited! There. I feel better.
I will actually finish the baby quilt i am making before Anna has children of her own! In fact, i may just be done today! Can you believe it?! I will finish a project! Me!! You should be impressed, this almost never happens ;)
