it's the bat-man!

I was awoken yesterday at 9:20 by a phone call from KT saying "Get out of bed and come eat waffles." Thanks!

Then the rest of the day was sort of blah until 10:00 when I went to meet the gang at CJ's before BATMAN BEGINS at midnight. Disclaimer: I am not a huge Batman fan. In fact, I really know very little about him and his adventures. I was always more of a Superman gal myself. But my movie guys wanted me there, so I went, and had fun. I even sort of dressed up- I had black pants rolled up to reveal black fishnets, a black batman t-shirt, kitty eyeliner and cat ears (the ghetto catwoman look, sort of). Others tried (essence of two-face sans a paper plate, for example), but Chris won because he dressed up like Robin. It was hysterical. Especially when we attacked Jon and Ai. Kaitlin fell on the playground cuz Batman wasn't there to catch her, but she ended up okay. We all hiked over to the theater, then decided to walk down to Albertsons where Leah and I talked to each other on the phone because we felt left out when the guys all started talking to people on their phones. Then we walked back, went inside, had trouble finding seats for ALL of us together, and watched a couple costumed people fighting in front of the theater. Oh, I forgot to mention the gross sophmore that kept trying to hit on me. Matt's friend, and super annoying. "You should have worn a tail, cuz I would've pulled it." EW! But luckily, his plans to sit next to me were thwarted by us, so yay. The movie itself was super good, but I had to pee reaally bad the whole time, so that kinda sucked. Still, I loved it. Michael Cain was the best for sure! Cept I have this habit of having movies be ruined by my friends who put funny words into my mind during sad or tense parts. In this case, when Bruce's parents died, my mind went "douch-bag." Haha... how many movies are they gonna invade for me?! Oh well, it was funny. Frankie kept laughing at random spots like always, and the Pompo brothers were funny cuz they kept laughing at the exact same things in the exact same way. What brothers. Afterwards me Kaitlin and Leah agreed that the Scarecrow was pretty hott in real life, with those amazing crystal blue eyes.... yumma. And of course Christian Bale was nice too; I kept thinking of Newsies, hehe. If only Batman had burst into song..... SO afterwards we all rushed out to pee, then hung out in the theater laughing about douche-bags, and went out to realize mine and Chris's cars were still at Carl's Jr. So we squished (and I mean Frankie was literally in our laps) into Brother Joe's vehicle and bummed a ride to our cars. Then with Frankie and Kaitlin squashed into my own truck, we drove through Spring Valley with the windows down and AC-DC blasting. Yes, at 2:45 in the morning. That was it. Yay!

Sorry, I didn't feel like breaking it up into paragraphs today. I'm tired. Plus, it seemed like messy organization for a nerdy evening fit.
