Crazy Brits!
Found more signs the other day when wandering around in the snow! It really took everyone by surprise, and it was really funny to see everyone so excited about 3-4 inches of snow. Apparently it's the most they've gotten at once in several years!
not sure what you're supposed to be doing near this sign....
I guess they can be pretty vicious in packs...
A mildly controversial(at least by American standards) advertising scheme...
On another note, had my first class yesterday! It went well, and the set-up is very similar to a discussion section at UW, with there being about 13 students with the professor. The classwork shouldn't be too different either, but I'll have to see about the papers.
I also joined a choir club, and after the first rehearsal last night, am pleasantly surprised to find that it does mainly Barbershop Quartet music! It should be fun, and laid back, since not all the people know how to read music. As far as I can tell we're singing fun songs for the first show (Feb. 21st) but I do have some catching up to do!
