Grrrr
RaeChel and I aren't sure what to do about our neighbors anymore. This weekend we had to call the police twice. Friday night because the girls upstairs where literally dragging one of their roommates up the stairs because she was too drunk to walk. Not only that, but it's the constant groups of 8 people stomping up and down the stairs yelling that made us call. Saturday night we had to call because the guys downstairs, like always, were having a party, and we couldn't hear The Office on Rae's computer over their music. We've called MPM about it, and hopefully they will get back to us on monday, and then we can set up a meeting with them to see what we can do about it, because if this continues, RaeChel doesn't want to live here anymore. She doesn't want to move out, but she's not sure she'll be able to deal with all the shit while I'm abroad next semester, since she won't have anyone who's right there, able to calm her down. I'm really hoping that MPM will have an answer, and that they can contact them and tell them that if they don't stop, they can be evicted, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
On a happier note, I got my new laptop today, which I'm really pumped about. It'll be great for the last bit of the semester, since it will give me something to do besides stare at a wall during lecture, and with my term papers coming up, I can go to the library (which i'll be needing to do since I doubt the books on Russian Architecture will all be available to check out) and study, if it gets too noisy around here.
