House Demolition Derby
Okay, so it's officially Hell Week here at the house. It started Monday morning at 0700 with the following crews here for home remodeling: an electrician crew rewiring the lights from the track lighting which caused the fire, a crew ripping up the baseboards so that we could put in hardwood flooring and tile, a tile crew, a construction crew repairing from the fire, and a hardwood flooring crew. We're being bussed from one place in the house to another, while they move all of our furniture and begin hell week. It's now Wednesday evening, and we have approximately 4 more days of this, plus a painter (for the kitchen) coming tomorrow. We now only have use of one bathroom. There's a toilet sitting in a bedroom, there's dust everywhere, all the kitties are at the vet being boarded, and we're going crazy. We don't have use of our kitchen. our bed doesn't have any sheets on it- we can't find em. We have no use of the washer and dryer, and we're stinkin'. Someone rescue us. Please.
