so today i got a roommate and jet got a job. she'll be working in raleigh as a ceramics instructor, making a percentage of what the place makes. and she'll get 24 hour access to the studio there, complete with wheel and kiln. it's great except it's part time, may take time to pay, and is in raleigh which takes 45 minutes to get to. still, quite good. she was on the way home and found another job too.
i was good today, got new keys made, more home improvement. i've imposed the A1, B1, C1, A2, A3, C2 method of rating my to do list today in an attempt to get a more executive system of control onto my todo lists, which are usually beyond chaotic (stemming from breif freakouts when i have a thousand thoughts all quickly slipping away and i realize i have no way of organizing them). i like the idea of an organizing principal. then you go in and make priorities. i haven't been organized in at least 5 years, and it's never been one of my strong suits, so bear with me on feeling like it's important.
also, taking a page from bill, i started up my filing cabinet today. it's actually pretty fun. it'll take a lot less hassle and stress to put things away and find them. my previous method was having a trashbag full of random papers. they are now making nice little bug-homes in storage. but *files*, that's adult. you can even have absurd files if you want.
