Title: Something Fun
Rating: PG
Pairing: Reid/Tyler
Summary: "It's boring. Why don't we do something more fun? It's been six months of me being faithful to you, Ty; this is something we should celebrate."
Disclaimer: Not mine, unfortunately.
"Reid?"
"Tyler."
"Do you know what tomorrow is?"
"Wednesday?"
"Actually, Thursday, but it's something else, too."
"Oh."
Tyler waited for an extension to Reid's reply, but when none came, he swiveled in his desk chair and glared at the blonde. "Reid!"
"It's not porn, I swear!" Reid defended and quickly shut his laptop. He cleared his throat and set it aside, "I mean, uh, yeah?"
With a sigh, Tyler got up and stood next to Reid's bed, one knee bent on it. "You really don't know?"
"English test? Senior cut day? Christmas?"
"Reid!" Tyler accented his accusing tone with a frustrated groan. "Pogue was right."
"Tyler, stop being such a girl, and spit it out already. If I wanted to deal with this crap, I would go get myself a girlfriend and listen to her whine."
Tyler fixed his best friend with a glare and crossed his arms for dramatic effect. "I can't believe you don't remember. I bet you'd remember if I were a girlfriend, not a boyfriend."
Reid's face was blank for several seconds, then his eyes lit up and widened to the size of baseballs. "Oh."
"Yeah, oh! Pogue was so right, you are a jerk."
Reid sighed and grabbed Tyler's wrist to pull him next to him. "I would have remembered tomorrow."
"When? After you saw the candle-lit dinner I was gunna make for us?"
"...a candle-lit dinner? Really?" Reid chuckled. "You're joking."
"It's romantic."
"It's boring. Why don't we do something more fun? It's been six months of me being faithful to you, Ty; this is something we should celebrate."
Tyler rolled his eyes and sat up, his legs folded under him. "Then what would you rather do?"
"How about we," he pulled Tyler down on top of him, "spend the night," he flipped them so that he was settled between Tyler's legs, "together..."
Tyler's grin was a goofy one at the prospect of a quiet night in with Reid.
"Paintballing?"
It took a minute for Tyler to register what Reid had meant exactly, but when he did, the grin fell and he just stared at Reid.
"I hate you."
"You love me," Reid laughed and placed a loud, wet kiss on Tyler's cheek.
