Ash Wednesday was last Wednesday which marks the day when Catholics begin lent for the new year and creep out their co-workers. -SNL
It's funny, the one night I'm not home and working is the one night my aim has someone I want to chat w/. *shakes fist* Not to mention most of you guys were off doing Valentines stuff at Wichman's. Poo! :-P
But my night was pretty damn good... I haven't been back at t-town for a week (THANK GOD) and it was cool seeing and working w/ people I like. I was actually very excitable last night and couldn't stop chatting w/ everyone I saw. OH! Also saw Jan and Chantale so that was a treat.
Speaking of treats... Oh my god! Breadhaus has AWESOME goodies! Poopie on Jan and Eric who didn't get to come and visit me but that's cool. You guys can come in w/ me so I can get us a discount on stuff. I'm so grateful for that place! They've really lifted my spirits and reminded me to be carefree and content. I haven't been that way in a long time; you know, having to deal w/ nasty managers on power-trips can really drain someone's benevolence.
Oh... I also donated blood... SUCESSFULLY!!! I'm never one to just give up on a bad go. The girl I had was super nice and didn't hurt me at all. I have just a small faded bruise the size of a dime. A DIME! *Giggles* I'm excited and I want to keep donating. Makes me feel good. Plus the free juice is an incentive.
I'm such a happy girl. I had my hair cut and styled plus a manicure on Friday. Going to a spa was Mom's early Valentine's Day present. I love being girly! Things are just getting better and better... Can't wait for my tax return either! :-D
