(no subject)
Well it's that time again... time for the ACADEMY AWARDS! While I'm pretty certain who I want to win, I still need to see several of the nominated movies; such as: Hotel Rwanda, Finding Neverland, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Aviator. I'm seeing The Aviator tomorrow so that's just one down. :-D
I saw Million Dollar Baby Sunday night and it completely blew me away! It's directing, acting and screenplay are flawless! I've come to the conclusion that Hillary Swank is one of my favorite actors. She pours her heart and soul into her roles and isn't afraid to be "un-pretty" in movies, and that gives her great character.
Anywho... change of subject... In the past year or so I guess you can say I've "wasted" my time when concerning college. Do I regret it? -Not at all! I have more conviction that I've helped support the finances during rough times and suspended my plans for sake of the family. Besides, for the sacrifices I've made I will be awarded in one way or another; and it's not like I'm left wanting. I'm a content girl. And I'm positive that as soon as my bed arrives the sun is going to shine brighter!
So yes, that was a good spiel! And just incase you guys care to take a peek... I've changed the look of my journal. Yes, again, but it's so gorgeous!
... not every milkshake should be brought to the yard...
