Hands continued

Jul 03, 2006 12:43

My hands go through phases of frustration which are often set off by big temperature changes. Typing is ok but I can't do it for extended periods. I've kept myself quite busy with gardening (the passiflora looks gorgeous!! *notes* I’ll have to check to see if Immeritus has a Sirius garden thread) and cooking (I made a delicious cherry-banana crumble last night that Froggy devoured!).
My hands will hopefully improve with time…. Sometimes they feel “normal” and sometimes they feel completely alien! I hope they get better but I’m sure I can live with it. Froggy has even said we would get the latest and greatest audio software so that the computer would type for me…. I guess that would be ok but it’s like not having a book and reading it onscreen - it’s just not the same. Anyhoo we’re not there yet and I’m sure this is temporary.
I have so much to read but I haven't spent much time reading, not because of my hands but because I've been caught up doing so much other stuff... Froggy reads to me every night: we're currently enjoying The Reality Dysfunction by Peter F. Hamilton.
I'm really happy to be working on my application - Immeritus is, like my very green balcony, a wonderful source of therapy for me. You guys are like our virtual family - you've really been there for the good times and the not so good times ("in sickness and in health" they say *wink* ). I love surfing the forums and checking out the updates. I know that Froggy feels the same as I do.
*snuggles*
